Guardians of the Quran – 10

Like all journeys, the journey with the Quran will have its ups and downs. There will be moments of tension, falling back, relapsing, setbacks and issues that you wouldn’t have encountered had you not embarked on this journey. It can get tough if you are doing it all alone, or you feel you’ve no one to support you, but you have to have faith that it will all turn out okay because the recitation, memorisation and all the time you dedicate to the Quran is worth every step you take and every single effort you make.

It’s okay if you must take a break from the routine and pause the memorisation, just keep in touch with recitation and meaning so that when you resume your hifdh, you will be better equipped and manage the flow.
Remember what Allah, the Almighty, said:
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ
وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ

“For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship],
And to your Lord direct [your] longing.”
